Hi, my name is Darcy and I operate this website all on my own, as a one-man-band. I design the website, I test the cameras, film and lenses, I write the news articles and the reviews, I conduct the interviews and research the articles and post about new content on social media. Other than any guest posts or submissions, I do absolutely everything.

As you can imagine, operating a website is not only time consuming but also very expensive. For this reason, when I link to a product or a service from this website, it may very well be what is known as an “affiliate link”.

What is an affiliate link, you might ask? Well, an affiliate link is just like any other link to a product or service except that it also tells the web shop who sent you to them. Then, if you purchase something from that website, they’ll give the affiliate (in this case, that means me!) a commission or a small percentage of the sale price.

This helps me keep the lights on and lets me spend a little more time on this website writing content, testing cameras or writing reviews.

Most importantly: you never pay anything extra, and I never recommend or link to a product I wouldn’t use myself or a shop I wouldn’t buy from myself.

Also, I never get paid to write about any product, or to provide positive reviews or coverage.

I try to put a small disclaimer on each page that features affiliate links, as well as an asterisk (*) next to each link, but in case I have missed any, please assume that most links to purchase products are affiliate links.
